Their gorgeous coat is not one that can go without maintenance as it needs to be brushed and clipped quit frequently. And as far as precious concerns, this particular breed of dog is well known for their skin problems, which could very well need a vet's help in treating. If some of these things bother you a great deal, then you may want to think adopting a Bichon Frise so that you can find a dog that will match your tastes a little better.
